Support Ashley and Quinn in Their Time of Need

As a family, we are reaching out for support for Ashley, and her family during this incredibly difficult time. Her husband, Quinn, has been experiencing significant cognitive decline and memory issues, and his condition is worsening rapidly. While doctors suspect dementia, he is still awaiting an MRI for an official diagnosis.

Quinn had been with the same company for over 20 years but lost his job due to his condition. He has not received unemployment, and despite trying to work at two other jobs, his symptoms made it impossible to continue.

Ashley works at the hospital and is doing everything she can to balance caring for Quinn, raising their two teenage boys, and maintaining her job. She has FMLA coverage, but as Quinn’s health declines, managing everything has become overwhelming.

On top of this, the boys tragically lost their biological father just a few years ago. Now, they are facing the heartbreak of watching Quinn, the man who has been their pillar of stability, slowly slip away.

Quinn has always been someone who loves to stay busy, and despite his condition, he still tries to take on projects around the house. Unfortunately, this recently led to a serious accident—he fell off the roof and had to be taken to the ER. His injuries required further evaluation, and he was transported to Iowa City for additional care. Moments like this make it even clearer how much support he truly needs.

Ashley’s team at work has been incredibly generous, donating gift cards and monetary contributions to help ease the burden. Their kindness has meant so much, but the financial strain continues to grow as Quinn’s care needs increase.
