Hi All,

My name is Kayla and I’ve been friends with Michael for 20+ years.

I’m starting this so we can rally for our friends/family who have fallen on some scary and challenging times. As some of you may know Ashley and Michael have been admitted to Women & Infants Hospital for the duration of their pregnancy.

While Ashley has been experiencing what we lovingly refer to as Murphy’s Law Pregnancy she has kept as positive an attitude as she could.

Since she’s having complications, Baby Boy Shiek is going to make his debut much earlier than expected.

I am asking you to dig in to your heart (& wallet) and help support mom & dad during this uncertain time.

Currently, Michael is on the extended stay train supporting Ashley at Women & Infants and is unable to work either job. Once baby Shiek arrives, and Ashley is discharged, we are anticipating food/gas/lodging costs so that mom & dad can stay close to the baby, who likely won’t be discharged at the same time.

While nothing is concrete yet, it’s certain to be a trying time both emotionally, physically, and financially. As their village, I’m hoping we can band together and ease one of those three burdens they are facing.
