Support Ashley and Her Twins After Hurricane

My names Ashley, I’m from Hot Springs, NC, and I lost my home due to hurricane Helene. I’m a single mom to two year old twin boys and have a cattle dog named Hank.

Our home (camper) flooded with about 2ft of water. There is a hole in the floor directly to the outside, the roof started leaking, and we just can’t live in it anymore. We ended up evacuating before noon on Friday September 27, we hiked up to 25/70 and tried to figure out what to do from there. Eventually we got a ride to the evacuation shelter. We stayed at the evacuation shelter until we all were evicted, 10/11, and are currently in a hotel waiting for a new camper.

I am no longer able to work and will need assistance with gas/bills/other assorted things.
