A few days ago, my aunt Ashley and my 3-year-old cousin’s home caught fire in just a few seconds. A fire destroyed their home and they lost absolutely everything — clothes, shoes, toys, even the little things that made their place feel like home.

They got out safely, and we are so grateful for that, but now they’re left with nothing but the clothes they had on. Ashley is doing her best to stay strong for her little boy, but starting over from scratch is overwhelming.

Right now, they need the basics:

• Ashley: Women’s XS clothing, women’s size 5 shoes (4.5 sneakers)

• My cousin: Size 4T clothes, size 10C shoes

We’re asking for help to cover clothes, shoes, food, and the costs of finding somewhere safe to stay while they rebuild their lives. Anything you can give — even a few dollars — will make a difference. And if you can’t donate, sharing this with others would mean the world to us.
