On behalf of our family, we are asking for support for Ashley and her children as they navigate an unimaginable tragedy.
Ashley is a devoted mother of three with a baby due around Christmas. Last week, her longtime boyfriend, Stephen — the father of her children — was shot and killed unexpectedly. His loss has left Ashley not only heartbroken but suddenly responsible for caring for her four children on her own while still trying to work and keep their household stable.
This comes just months after another devastating loss. In April, Ashley lost her mother to cancer. It has been a year filled with pain, grief, and overwhelming challenges for her and the kids.
Ashley is a strong, loving mom who has always done everything she can to take care of her children. She works as a hairstylist from her home to make ends meet, and the kids adored their father. They are devastated and trying to understand a world that suddenly feels unsafe and uncertain.
With Stephen gone, Ashley has lost the only financial and emotional support she had at home. She now faces:
- Caring for three young children and a newborn in just weeks
- Managing the emotional trauma of losing their father
- Handling bills, rent, utilities, groceries, and gas entirely alone
- Navigating grief during pregnancy
- Keeping her kids in school despite long daily drives
- Trying to stay mentally and emotionally stable for her little ones
We want Ashley to be able to grieve, to breathe, and to stabilize her home without constantly wondering how she will keep the lights on or put gas in the car to get the kids to school.
