My dear friend Ashley (who is the mother of my niece) and her husband Evan were unexpectedly surprised on Christmas Eve with a new little bundle of joy!! The local hospital saw fit to transfer him to Brenner’s the day after Christmas. Since then, they have ran many tests and have yet to come to any conclusions on the possibility of him having or not having seizures.

Because of this, they are having to travel back and forth to the hospital daily. They are unable to stay with the baby due to the fact that they have 4 other children at home. Ashley is the primary caregiver for one of her children who requires 24 hour care.

They are small business owners which makes the cost of health insurance practically unaffordable. Therefore, every day the baby stays there and more tests and procedures are performed, the bills are only getting higher and higher. They also are faced with the cost of purchasing everything needed for the baby once he comes home.

Ashley and Evan both are great people. They are always ready and willing to help others and could use some help themselves. No amount is too small and anything you can do would be extremely appreciated.
