My life-long best friends, Ashley and Erin, lost their home in Madeira Beach, their cars, and all of their belongings during Hurricane Hellene last week. Ashley was out of town for work, but Erin, her boyfriend Steven, along with Ashley’s dog, had to be rescued by EMS from their roof after six hours of seeking refuge there.

Almost everything in their home is a total loss, so they are both starting completely from scratch with furniture, clothes, and personal items. We are all so grateful they are all safe physically, but emotionally, this has been absolutely devastating as I’m sure it has been to everyone affected.
