Support Ashleigh's Fight Against Brain Cancer

Life can change in an instant. A few months ago, Ashleigh began experiencing troubling symptoms. After countless tests and appointments, doctors discovered tumors on her brain, leading to a diagnosis of Grade 2 Astrocytoma, IDH-mutant — a form of brain cancer.

Thankfully, it was caught early enough that surgery is unlikely — but chemotherapy is necessary. While the thought of chemo brings back difficult memories from Ashleigh’s previous battle with cervical cancer, she is facing this new fight with strength, hope, and even a little humor.

Ashleigh and her husband, Steve, are the proud parents of two amazing kids: Jessyca, who will be graduating high school and earning her associate degree this June, and Ryder, an avid soccer player who is about to move up to junior high. Ashleigh’s biggest wish is to be there, healthy and strong, to cheer them on through all of these incredible milestones.

Adding to the difficulty, Ashleigh and Steve have recently experienced a critical change in their monthly income, and their appeals for financial assistance have been denied. This unexpected hardship, combined with mounting medical expenses, has placed an overwhelming burden on their family. Additionally, there are some out-of-pocket expenses that are higher than anticipated, which is another stressor.
