My Family Lost Everything in a House Fire - Please Help Us Rebuild

Hi, my name is Ashleigh Olesen. On the night of July 1st, my family’s home caught fire and was completely destroyed. We lost everything-our belongings, our memories, our sense of safety. The entire second floor is gone. We have no insurance. We have nowhere to go.

We don’t know what comes next, every option feels overwhelming and painful right now. I’m starting this fundraiser to help bring some immediate and lasting relief to my family in the midst of this nightmare.

I lived in the house with my mom, my nana, my Aunt Dolores, my uncle, and my puppy, Cozmo. Thankfully, my mom, Nana, and Cozmo made it out safely with me. But my Aunt Dolores, who is disabled and bedridden, had to be rushed to the hospital. She’s lived in this home since before 1986. My uncle was in the ICU after suffering from smoke inhalation and burns to his lungs.

Our family is broken and shaken, but we’re still here. And we’re trying to hold on to hope.

We’re asking for help from our community, our friends, neighbors, and anyone with the means to support us. Your generosity will help with:
