My sister Ashleigh was recently diagnosed with brain cancer (Astrocytoma) in the frontal lobe at the young age of 31. This news has been incredibly difficult for our family. She is currently undergoing radiation five days a week, and after that she will start chemo for 6 months to a year. The tumor is unable to be surgically removed at this time. 

We are raising money to help cover the travel expenses and medical treatments that come with this sudden change as her primary cancer treatment is being done at MD Anderson in Houston. She will be traveling back and forth frequently to follow up with her oncologist and for any complications she may undergo throughout this long journey. Being away from home and her four young children for an extended period is not only emotionally tough, but it also brings unexpected financial burdens. Your support will help ease some of the stress so Ashleigh can focus on her treatment and healing.
