Ashleigh Harris is a devoted mother of six and a compassionate CNA who recently moved to Georgia, hoping to build a better life for her family. She has always dedicated herself to caring for others, working two jobs and touching the lives of everyone she meets with her patience and kindness. But now, Ashleigh is facing unimaginable heartbreak.

On Sunday, June 28th, Ashleigh’s six-year-old son, Ramon Jett—affectionately known as RJ—went missing from his sister’s apartment in Riverdale. While his family was sleeping, the apartment door was found open and RJ was gone. Tragically, his body was later recovered from a nearby pond in Clayton County, Georgia. RJ was nonverbal, and his loss has left Ashleigh and her family devastated.

Just ten days earlier, on June 19th, Ashleigh pulled her car over to help a 16-year-old who had been shot while standing up for someone being bullied. She performed CPR on the teen, doing everything she could to save his life. Sadly, she later found out that he did not survive. Already emotionally devastated by this tragedy, Ashleigh then faced the unimaginable loss of her own son, RJ, only days later.

Ashleigh’s coworkers have witnessed her strength and dedication firsthand. She is a hardworking healthcare worker who always goes above and beyond for her patients, even while carrying the weight of her own grief. Now, as Ashleigh faces funeral expenses and the challenge of supporting her family through this difficult time, we are asking for the community’s help.
