Ashlee Reeves was a beautiful 19-year-old attending college at SUNY Cobleskill A & G. She was walking to get dinner when she was tragically struck by a man driving an SUV. In an instant, Ashlee’s life was taken, leaving her family and all who loved her heartbroken. Her parents are now facing the unimaginable pain of losing their daughter, and the entire family is devastated by this sudden loss.
Ashlee’s parents have had to miss work to take care of everything that comes with such a tragedy, and now they are preparing for her funeral. As Ashlee’s dad is my cousin and we grew up together, I want to do whatever I can to support them during this incredibly difficult time. The funds raised will go directly to Ashlee’s parents to help cover funeral expenses and living costs while they are away from work, giving them space to grieve without the added stress of financial worries.
I have never had to start a GoFundMe before, and it’s hard for me to ask for help when I’m usually the one supporting others. But right now, Ashlee’s family needs all the support they can get. Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser to help ease their burden. Your kindness and generosity will mean so much to Ashlee’s parents as they navigate this heartbreaking loss.
