Support Asher's Trans Dance Team Journey

Hi! It's Katie (Asher's mom) and Asher (enby, age 15). Asher has been training as a dancer since they were 4. When we moved to the Hudson Valley a year and a half ago, we were afraid that Asher was going to have to give up dance.

After some significant searching, we determined that the best opportunity for Asher to continue dancing is through Dance Team. It turns out our local studio, Next Level Dance, has a great environment and a dynamic team. They invited Asher to join their top, Diamond level team, and are excited to support Asher in what is usually a super-gendered style of performance.

But competitive dance is expensive. Classes, choreography fees, costumes, competition fees, travel expenses (including an unexpected week of housing on the Jersey Shore for Nationals the week of July 4th!) adds up.
