Support Asher's Fight Against Leukemia

Donation protected
Hi! I’m Morgan, one of Kir’s close friends. Over the weekend on March 22nd, Kir and Jack ended up with their son Asher at Vanderbilt Children's. Bubby is a tough boy but he’s still everyone’s baby. I created this because I don’t want either of them to have any extra worries except for Bubby and Greyson. He will be able to come home and be with his family. They are the best support system for this boy as well as the family he has surrounding him in this.

This is Kirsten’s story below:
Saturday night we took Asher into the hospital on base Asher has been having weird symptoms that were just very unusual so we asked them for a blood test and pee test and they told us no because he didn’t seem like an emergency and said he looks completely healthy. The next day Asher spiked his fever he’s been getting every day plus his other symptoms he’s been having so we decided to take him into the er in Hopkinsville they heard our concerns gave us what we wanted. gave us some news that kinda upset us Asher had to be admitted into the children’s Vanderbilt hospital here in Nashville more blood was drawn here and as you know our world did a full 360 Asher has B-ALL leukemia hes getting a piece of his bone barrow taken tomorrow and he will be getting a spinal tap done along with him getting his port put in for his chemo treatments he starts his first round tomorrow. Now it sounds bad to say but in our situation this is one that I was hoping it would be so Asher and us will be in here for 8 days then after he can come home and we will continue his appointments once a week every week for treatments and the plan is to kill it in 28 days and if it’s successful then he will have rehab for two years to make sure it dosent come back at all. There’s so much more I’m missing and am trying my best to explain it how they did but it’s very hard to. We’re taking this one step at a time and not letting our emotions take over completely we trust in the cancer team here they have also said it’s a very high success rate for recovery but there is still that chance. This has completely caught us by surprise but Asher is still being his hyper goofy loving self. All prayers needed we will need them!

Anything is helpful in this time, especially prayers!
