Help the Partlow Family - Supporting Little Asher in His Fight Against Cancer

Our dear friends, Sabrina and Andy Partlow, are facing every parent’s worst nightmare. Their sweet, adventurous, and loving 2-year-old son, Asher, has been diagnosed with High-Risk Neuroblastoma (Stage 4) - a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer. Only about 700 children are diagnosed each year.

Neuroblastoma is a formidable disease with an average survival rate of 60%, but that rate drops to just 10% for children who experience recurrence - something heartbreakingly common. In Asher’s case, his tumor has unfavorable histology with MYCN amplification, which means it’s more complex and responds differently to treatment in different areas. The cancer has also spread to his bone marrow and encased multiple organs.

Yet, amidst the hardship, there is hope. The bone marrow biopsy revealed only rare tumor levels, which is encouraging news, and the cancer has affected only one kidney. Asher has been enrolled in a promising clinical trial involving an aggressive combination of chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation. This 18-month treatment plan offers a significantly improved chance of survival - and most importantly, has been shown to reduce recurrence.

Asher is a bright light - compassionate, curious, playful, and brave beyond his years. He loves music, sports, animals, and keeping up with his big brother, Aiden. His family is confident that he will beat this - and while this journey may shape his path, it will never define him.

The Partlows have always been the first to lend a hand, share a smile, and show up for others in need. Now, it’s our turn to rally around them. The goal of this GoFundMe is to help cover unexpected medical and emergency costs that arise during Asher’s long road to recovery.
