My name is Asher Whitman, and I am a 17-year-old dedicated to achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honor in the Boy Scouts of America. This journey has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, teaching me invaluable skills such as leadership, perseverance, and service to my community.
I am now at the final step in my Scouting adventure: completing my Eagle Scout Service Project. This project is a unique opportunity for me to plan, develop, and lead a significant initiative that benefits my community. It’s a way for me to give back while demonstrating the principles of Scouting I have learned over the years.
For my Eagle Scout project, I am creating a Lending Library for the community in honor of my neighbor, Nicholas Pena, a neighbor with Autism who passed away last year. This Lending Library will serve as a lasting tribute to Nicolas’s memory while promoting literacy and community connection.
To make this project a reality, I need your support. As you can imagine, organizing and executing a meaningful service project requires resources—both material and financial. Your generous contribution will help cover the costs of supplies, tools, and any other essentials needed to bring this project to life. Every dollar raised will go directly toward creating a lasting, positive impact in our community.
I am incredibly grateful for your consideration and support. Together, we can make a difference and help me achieve this lifelong goal.
Thank you for being a part of my Eagle Scout journey.
Sincerely, Asher Whitman
