LEND A HAND TO ASHANTA: A MOTHER'S FIGHT FOR HER CHILDREN'S

Hello, kind-hearted individual, my name is A8thshanta Clancy, and I am a proud mother of four wonderful children, ages 17 to 7. Throughout my life, I have been a hard-working and devoted mother, striving to provide the best for my kids despite the challenges we’ve faced.

For twelve long years, I endured a difficult relationship with my children’s father, who chose not to support us. Finally, I found the strength to leave, seeking a better life for my children and me. Four years ago, we moved to Texas with hopes and dreams of a brighter future.

I started working at Walmart and soon after joined FedEx. However, tragedy struck when my car broke down. Without reliable transportation, I lost my job, and the heartbreak of not being able to provide for my children weighed heavily on me.

Despite these setbacks, I remained determined. I secured a job with Marathon Builders, which allowed us to have a stable home. But then, I fell ill and lost my job, depleting our savings to cover rent and essential bills. Now, I am starting a new work-from-home job on May 24, 2024, but it won’t cover all our expenses, especially with rent due on June 1, 2024.

My youngest son, only 7 years old, suffers from severe asthma. When he was just 2, his condition was so critical he was near the ICU. To keep him healthy, we need a stable home environment.
