My dear friends,

I have an idealistic "sister" who is teaching in a middle school in southeast Turkey. She has been telling me stories about her experience, like how the kids keep asking how long she is going to stay because most teachers leave after a few months. She tells me that some of the kids are sharing paper note books, and they only have one computer for the entire school.

As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, and with everything going on in the world right now, I am grateful for amazing people like my "sister" and I want to help.

I've setup this gofundme page to raise money to buy heaters for the classrooms and laptops to give a chance to these young kids to catch up with their pers.

I will keep the page up until December 4th, and then I will buy as much as I can and bring it to the school.
