Support Asa Amari’s Journey to the Green Jacket

Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Marysia, and I’m the proud mom of Asa Amari, a 6-year-old junior golfer whose love for the game began before he could even talk. Asa’s first words were “mama,” “dada,” and—you guessed it—“golf ball.” From the moment he learned to walk, he was swinging a soup ladle at golf balls around the house and neighborhood. Now, he’s a determined young golfer with big dreams, and we’re reaching out to ask for your support to help him on his journey.

Asa’s passion for golf is truly one-of-a-kind. When he turned one, his dad, Vance, gifted him his first putter, and the two have spent countless hours hitting golf balls in our basement and on the course. Asa’s love for the game is so strong that he often chooses to play golf over "normal" age-appropriate activities.

As soon as his little brother learned to stand, Asa was right there offering him golf lessons. It’s been incredible to watch his passion grow over the years. His dedication to the sport is inspiring.

Recently, Asa’s talent has started to shine on a bigger stage. He started playing in U.S. Kids Golf tournaments as soon as he was allowed to- at 4.5 years old as his birthday would fit within the cut off date. He won second place on his very first tournament and has only improved since. He looks forward to practicing at home on multiple putting mats, in our garage, backyard, mini golf, at the driving range and the chip/putting area at a local golf course.

He’s been invited to play in tournaments around the world, but unfortunately, many of these opportunities are out of reach for us financially. We’ve registered him for his first regional championship this June, and we’re exploring every avenue to support his golf journey.

The golf events he has been invited to to date:

U.S. Kids Golf Desert Shootout 2025 - Arizona
U.S. Kids Golf 2025 Hawaii State Invitational - Oahu

Why We Need Your Help:
Golf is a sport that requires not only talent and hard work but also resources. From equipment and coaching to tournament fees and travel expenses, the costs can add up quickly. We want to give Asa every opportunity to grow and succeed, but we can’t do it alone.

We’re hoping to raise $15,000 to cover:
- Tournament fees and travel expenses for Asa’s upcoming regional and world championship and future events. Each event registration is $400-$500, not including the hotel and travel arrangements that are needed.
- Golf lessons and coaching to help him refine his skills and reach his full potential. His dad Vance has taken on this for the most part and done a wonderful job, but we are hoping to get him additional lessons to take his golf skills to the next level.
- Equipment like clubs, shoes, and practice gear that fit his growing needs.

Every dollar contributed will go directly toward helping Asa pursue his passion and take his game to the next level.

How You Can Help:
1. Donate: Any amount, big or small, makes a difference. Whether it’s $5 or $50, your contribution will help Asa get one step closer to his dreams.
2. Share: If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page with your friends, family, and network would mean the world to us. The more people who see this, the closer we get to our goal!
3. Encourage: Leave a comment or message of support for Asa. Your words of encouragement will inspire him to keep working hard and chasing his dreams.
4. Spread the Word: If you know of any junior golf grants, programs, or opportunities that could help Asa, please let us know! We’re eager to explore every avenue to support his journey.
5. Join us in his golf journey on instagram https://www.instagram.com/asa_amari_golf/

We’re committed to keeping you updated every step of the way. From sharing Asa’s progress on the course to posting photos and videos of his journey, we want you to see the impact of your generosity.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read Asa’s story. Your support means more than words can express, and we’re so grateful for any help you can offer.

With heartfelt thanks,
Marysia, Vance, Jaylen, and Asa
