Support Arya's Life-Changing Surgery

Donation protected
Arya, a Devore Shelter dog, could use some help getting a life changing surgery.

She was found in San Bernardino with an injured leg, I met her while at the Devore Shelter and knew I couldn't leave her. Her body was broken but her spirit was full of love and connection in the middle of chaos. My friend that does Malinois rescue out of her own pocket agreed to open her home to her and get her the care she needs.

After healing from kennel cough, she went in for xrays and sweet Arya got her diagnosis and it’s exactly what we feared. She has an unhealed fracture in her elbow and the bone has actually moved partially down her leg. Her official diagnosis is Compounded scapular fracture. She's been been dealing with a great amount of pain for a long time vet recommends amputation during her spay surgery to relieve her pain these dogs are so incredibly special, Arya will be the cutest tripod

Quotes for surgery are around $1800, we would lobe to be able to raise a little extra for physical therwpy after her surgery. If her story pulls on your heartstrings and you’d like to donate, it would be much appreciated so we can continue saving these special dogs

Once she is healed up and acclimated to tripod life, she will be available to adopt. She's shockingly (or not!) very athletic despite her disability and will do great on 3 legs. If you or someone you know would be a good fit, please reach out to me!
