Our sweet Arya is only 2 years old — a tiny girl with the brightest smile, the purest giggle, and extremely smart for her age — and she’s already facing a battle no child should ever have to fight.

Arya has been diagnosed with medulloblastoma and leptomeningeal, a rare and aggressive brain cancer that most often strikes children. It makes up about 20% of all pediatric brain tumors, with most diagnoses happening between ages 3 and 8. Arya is only 2.

Despite how terrifying this diagnosis sounds, there is hope. With modern treatments, the 5-year survival rate can be as high as 70–80% for standard-risk cases, and around 60% for high-risk. But behind every statistic is a child — our Arya — and a family holding their breath for a miracle.

Arya has already shown more courage and strength than most of us could ever imagine. She has undergone multiple surgeries with more to come, chemotherapy imminent, and possible radiation when she's older if the chemotherapy doesn't cure her. She will not face any of it alone… because her dad and our family have never left her side.

My brother is the type of father who has been her rock, her safe place, and her fiercest protector. From hospital hallways to sleepless nights, he has held her tiny hand every step of the way. His love for her is unshakable. His world revolves around making sure his baby girl feels safe, loved, and never alone — even in the hardest moments.
