Advanced Robotics at the University of Washington (ARUW) is an engineering-based student-run organization consisting of over 70 students that intends to send a highly competitive team with a suite of state-of-the-art robots to Shenzhen this summer to compete in the biggest robotics competition in the world- Robomasters.
We are entirely student run, meaning we our outreach, designs, coding, manufacturing are all done by our members, many who did not have these skills coming in. We offer our members an environment where they will not only learn and apply industry applicable skills, but be part of an active, vibrantly diverse and inclusive community.
Last year we competed and received third prize at the international competition. This year, we are hungry for more- but we need your help!
Every dollar donated will help us achieve our goals; the better materials and tools we can get our hands on, the better the experience we can provide for our members, and the better we will do in this rigorous competition.
Thank you so much for your considerations,
