Currently, Arturo is out of the ICU!! After losing 20 pounds he is now on his journey of recovery! Thank you all again for coming together to support during this time, it truly means so much.

UPDATE: We reached our initial goal! Our community is strong, vibrant, and full of love and appreciation of this amazing human! THANK YOU to all the donors that helped us reach our initial goal to pay Arturo’s rent within 13 hours of launching it! To better support Arturo’s recovery we have upped the amount to cover 2 months of rent, so he can rest and recover with a little less stress. He’s still in the ICU and has a long road to recovery until he’s back in the studio dancing and teaching.

Hi, To begin, Arturo is one of the kindest people I know. Someone who helps when you’re in need. Like drive you to work when your car is in the shop, or hand deliver medicine when you’re sick. Arturo is in need of help. On August 21st, Arturo was admitted to the emergency room, and the ICU for seizures with causes unknown that kept him unconscious, ventilated, with a feeding tube, for an entire week. Although Arturo’s health is at the forefront of everyone’s concern, the reality is that his rent is due on September 1st. Arturo and his partner need help to sustain themselves during this time of need. I am asking anyone who is willing to donate or share to please do so. The fear of Arturo’s safety and livelihood is enough of a stressor, and all we want is to relieve the financial stress of rent during this unprecedented, emergent time.
