Arturo is both a devoted family man and a pillar of our community. He’s always put his loved ones first, working hard to support them while also giving generously to those around him. About 10 years ago, Arturo helped transform Travers Park, leading efforts to replace a single makeshift tennis court with two proper courts. His vision and dedication have created lasting opportunities for neighbors to play and connect, showing the same selflessness he brings to his family and friends.
Recently, Arturo faced a major setback—he had to undergo leg surgery due to a blood clot in his leg, causing an infection and complications. Because he also lives with diabetes, his recovery has been especially difficult and slow. His recovery is expected to take about 3 to 5 months, meaning he’s unable to work and has spent most of his days confined to bed, needing assistance even for simple tasks like moving to the bathroom. This sudden change has not only affected his health but has also put a significant strain on his finances, as he’s unable to earn an income during this challenging time.
We’re reaching out to the community that he’s given so much to, hoping to rally support for his recovery. The funds raised will go directly toward covering his medical bills, daily living expenses, and the ongoing medical necessities he needs to heal. Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference. Arturo and his family are grateful for the kindness and support during this difficult journey.
