Hello friends,
You may or may not be aware, but my brother Art, a professional skydiver, was involved in a serious plane crash on July 2nd while working in Williamstown, NJ. He nearly lost his leg in the accident but, by some miracle, he survived.
Art is currently hospitalized at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ, where he is beginning the long road to recovery. Unfortunately, there is still a chance he may lose his leg. While we are hopeful and confident in the care he’s receiving, it’s clear this will be a slow process. Doctors estimate he may need to stay in the hospital for about two months before even starting rehabilitation.
For those who know Art, skydiving is not just his passion—it’s his livelihood. This time of year is especially important for him to earn the income he needs to get through the winter, but now he will be unable to work for quite some time.
Art recently purchased a piece of land and has been working hard to improve it, both as a home and a gathering place for his skydiving community. All of this is now on hold, and understandably, he’s feeling uncertain about what lies ahead.
Art is someone who rarely asks for help, so I’m reaching out on his behalf—with his permission—to ask for support during this difficult time.
If Art has ever helped you, or if this story touches your heart, please consider contributing if you’re able. Every bit of support means the world to us.
Thank you so much ❤️
