The Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County has teamed up with its young professionals' group, Art Nouveau of Winston-Salem in a special fundraising initiative, the Artist Relief Impact Fund, to support local individual artists.
   
Art Nouveau has launched a GoFundMe page to raise funds that will be used exclusively to support individual artists who are being adversely impacted by the devastating COVID-19 crisis. The unprecedented health crisis of COVID-19 has caused the closure of theatres, art galleries, and other performing arts venues throughout Winston-Salem and Forsyth County, which has had uniquely severe effects on individual artists’ income.

This special Art Nouveau fundraising initiative is parallel to, but separate from, The Arts Council’s 2020 Community Fund for the Arts annual campaign, which raises funds to provide substantial general support to a wide range of local artists and arts organizations. 
 
Art Nouveau of Winston-Salem, the next generation of arts and culture supporters, has also mobilized its membership to enhance and extend awareness and support for local artists in the community.
