Support Artist and Teacher After Devastating Flood

The basement of my parents’ home was destroyed in a thousand year flood. Their insurance won’t pay for the repairs because they didn’t have flood insurance so they are trying to do it themselves. They’re not young, my dad’s back is gone from the first repair job, and they had already just put thousands into finishing the basement 2 years ago.
My dad’s an artist and a teacher, and has lost much of his art which is irreplaceable. Due to a medical condition, his days of making more art are limited.
They're devastated that they are doing this all over again at a time when their money is thin. I don’t know if 50,000 will be enough to cover the damage and loss from the flood but anything would help right now.
The Funds will be going to help replace our flooring and sheet rock that was affected by it.
