Dear friends, family, and community,

I'm reaching out on behalf of my dear friend Artika Singh, who is going through an incredibly painful and challenging time. In addition to recently being diagnosed with endometrial cancer and undergoing major surgery on October 31, Artika has now also been diagnosed with breast cancer.

She is now facing an aggressive treatment plan that includes chemotherapy and radiation, which come with very high out-of-pocket costs. On top of that, she’s working two jobs trying to cover all the costs. Unfortunately, her everyday bills haven’t paused—including rent, medical expenses, and basic needs and all the costs are extremely hard to manage.

Despite her pain, Artika continued working two jobs thoughtout this difficult time, while also making frequent trips to Sacramento for appointments and daily infusions.

She needs help covering urgent expenses like:

Chemotherapy and radiation costs

Medical bills and copays

Prescription medications

Rent and utilities

Artika is an incredible nurse and an even more incredible human being. She’s always cared for others with grace and compassion—and now she needs that same support in return.
