Arthur Levi McFadden, III, a dedicated student at the University of Illinois in Champaign, has earned a scholarship to study his Junior year at Waseda University in Japan. After excelling in a summer program in Japan and achieving an "A" grade, Arthur is now preparing to return for a full academic year abroad, from September 2025 to August 2026. His commitment to his studies and his passion for international learning have opened doors to incredible opportunities, but they also come with new challenges.

While Arthur’s scholarship covers his tuition, school fees, and some living expenses, it does not fully address the daily costs of living in Tokyo. Arthur will need support for essentials like food and transportation, which are not included in his scholarship. He will be focusing entirely on his studies, making it difficult to supplement his income with part-time work. This fundraiser will help ensure Arthur can make the most of his experience in Japan, stay healthy, and travel safely while pursuing his academic goals.
