Standing With Arthur in His Fight Against Cancer
Life has not been easy for Arthur, but through every challenge he has faced, he has always remained a strong.
In 2025, Arthur was diagnosed with throat cancer. He courageously went through both chemotherapy and radiation treatments. By the grace of God, those treatments helped shrink the cancer and gave him a short remission over the past year. But the battle left its mark. The treatments were extremely hard on his body, causing nerve damage and affecting his vision.
Even while recovering, Arthur pushed himself to return to work. Like many hardworking people, he wanted to catch up on the medical bills and living expenses that had piled up during his fight. He never gave up trying.
But over the last few months, Arthur began feeling sick again.
After more tests and doctor visits, the news no family wants to hear came back. The cancer had returned — this time growing fast in both of his lungs.
Arthur recently underwent a procedure to remove the dark spots in his lungs. Our family held onto hope and prayed for good news. Unfortunately, the procedure was not successful.
Now Arthur must face another difficult road ahead. Doctors have told him he will need to undergo 15 more rounds of radiation treatment.
Because of his condition, Arthur is unable to work and focus on his health at the same time. To make matters even more difficult, he lost his job due to being unable to work and no longer has medical insurance.
Our family is doing everything we can to support him — providing care, transportation to appointments, meals, and comfort. But the financial stress is overwhelming, and right now Arthur needs the strength to focus on healing.
Arthur has already endured heartbreaking loss in his life. He lost his beloved oldest son, Douglas, in August of 2019, and our youngest son, Samuel, in January of 2023. The pain of those losses is something no parent should ever have to carry.
Despite everything he has gone through, Arthur continues to fight.
He is a proud father to his son Arthur, and daughters Victoria and Nadia. He is also a loving grandfather to 11 beautiful grandchildren, with two more precious grandchildren expected to arrive any day now.
Those grandchildren are one of the biggest reasons he keeps pushing forward.
Our family has faced heartbreak before, but we stand together in love and strength as Arthur fights this aggressive cancer.
Today, we are humbly asking for help. Any support you can give will help relieve the financial burden of medical treatments and living expenses while Arthur focuses on what matters most — fighting for his life and being here for his family.
No donation is too small. Every act of kindness, every prayer, and every share means the world to us.
