Mr. Arthur Marin, a dedicated math teacher for 24 years who has helped generations of students, needs your help. He has stage four Parkinson's and severe, excruciating arthritis. These conditions make daily life a painful struggle.
He taught math for 10 years at Montgomery Middle School, then taught for fourteen additional years at Eastlake High School. He is a single father with three children, and his children live with him.
In 2017, Arthur’s illness was diagnosed, and he began the fight of his life. Arthur had to medically retire in 2024, and he now requires extensive 24-hour care. He is 50 years old and has a long road ahead. His medical retirement pays only a small fraction of his full salary before his illness.
Your donation will directly improve his quality of life by helping to fund his overwhelming medical expenses and provide much-needed support for him to pay for his cost of living.
Please give what you can. Every dollar helps Arthur and his family.
Please share and post his story and this campaign with others. Your support makes a difference.
I know this man. He is a good, kind, and giving person. Please help give back to an educator who gave so much to his community.
