I am originally from Ukraine, the city of Severodonetsk. Due to the war, my hometown became occupied, and to protect the lives of my children, I was forced to leave my home and relocate. I chose Canada as a safe place where my children could live without fear and where we could begin rebuilding our lives.

In 2021, prior to the war, I underwent surgery to remove cancer. I was required to continue medical follow-ups in 2022, but after the outbreak of war, access to healthcare became limited, and all available resources were focused on survival and relocating my family. Because of this, I was unable to continue the necessary medical monitoring.

Recently, I developed dark stripes on several toenails and one fingernail. After medical consultations, there is concern that this condition may require urgent further examination, including specialist consultations and biopsies, to determine the exact diagnosis and next steps.

At this time, I need assistance to cover:

Medical tests and diagnostic procedures

Specialist and oncology consultations

Possible surgical treatment and follow-up care

Medications and recovery-related expenses
