Support Arte Jones Memorial at Waterbury Skate Park

When Arte Jones passed away on July 25, 2019, a group of friends organized a GoFundMe in his memory. Those funds were transferred to us, and we’ve been holding onto them while working toward a memorial in his honor at the Burlington waterfront skate park. Unfortunately, that proved too difficult to make happen.

Thankfully, we’ve partnered with the folks behind the Waterbury skate park, who are open to including a memorial feature for Arte. We’re excited to finally have a space that honors the impact he had on the skate community. Arte was a core part of the Maven crew, and we miss him deeply.

We’re thrilled to share this drawing of the proposed feature. We currently have $3,200 set aside, and we’re looking to raise an additional $2,500 to complete it. All donations will go directly to the Waterbury skate park project. A plaque will be placed on the feature so we’ll have a place to remember and celebrate our dear friend.
