Help Arseniy Segan to Recover from a Tragic Hit and Run Accident.
My husband, Arseniy Segan, was the victim of a shocking hit and run accident in North Miami, Florida on April 24, 2024. Arseniy’s life changed in an instant when a reckless driver first crashed into his car. When Arseniy stepped out of his vehicle to exchange insurance information, the driver denied any damage to my husband’s car, refused to cooperate, and then, horrifyingly, hit Arseniy with his vehicle before fleeing the scene. The perpetrator remains unidentified.
Arseniy was rushed to the hospital with severe injuries, including a traumatic brain injury, multiple facial fractures, and internal brain bleeding. He underwent emergency brain surgery, during which a portion of his scalp was removed to save his life. For two agonizing weeks, his life has been in danger. Currently, my husband remains in the hospital, undergoing extensive rehabilitation. Once this phase is complete, Arseniy will need scalp reconstruction surgery and further rehabilitation. Due to the severity of his injuries, he is unable to work and is facing a year-long recovery at the very least. Tragically, Arseniy had no health insurance at the time of the accident.
We are incredibly thankful to the doctors who saved Arseniy’s life. Yet, we face a daunting journey ahead.
