Hi everyone! My name is Amber Rodriguez (you may know me better as Bruno and Arlo's mom). I’m raising money for the 2 dog rescue organizations that helped Bruno find his way to us.... his forever home.

Arrows Heart Animal Rescue (based in MN) and Furry Tails Rescue (based in AR).

April 12th, 2026 will mark Bruno's 1 year adoption anniversary!

In Honor of Bruno — Help Us Save More Dogs Like Him! The money that is donated will go to the 2 amazing rescue organizations that both saved Bruno.

A year ago, my family adopted Bruno from Arrow's Heart Animal rescue—and it changed our life forever.

Bruno was surrendered down South in Arkansas to Furry Tails Rescue where he was placed in a foster home for 3-4 months. He was then transported with several other dogs up North to Arrows Heart Animal rescue where he lived with a new foster family for about a month. He attended adoption events on the weekends and April 12th, 2025 my daughter and I met him. We were running errands and saw the adoption event and, on a whim, decided to stop to give the dogs some love and attention. My daughter quickly ran to the end kennel and I witnessed the sweetest connection I have ever seen....a connection that some would say is what happens when you meet your soul dog for the first time. We later brought the rest of the family to meet him and adopted him that day. We feel so blessed to have him in our family now!

Bruno came from a system where so many dogs are still waiting—waiting to be seen, to be chosen, to be given a chance. And thanks to these rescue organizations, he got that chance.

We want to give that chance to as many dogs as possible—in his honor. ❤️

The organizations that saved Bruno don’t just “rescue dogs.”

They do the hard, often unseen work that makes survival possible:

• Covering vital vet care for sick and injured dogs

• Providing food and daily care

• Supporting foster families who open their homes

• Transporting dogs from the South to safe homes in the North

Both rescue organizations are also non profit and all volunteer based.

There are countless dogs that will never get the opportunity Bruno had… unless someone steps in. That’s what this fundraiser is for...
