Arron Powell is a loving father, a devoted son, and Big Brother Recently, his life—and the lives of everyone who depends on him—changed in an instant when he was the victim of a devastating hit-and-run in Atlanta, Georgia.

Arron is incredibly grateful to still be here today, but he is now facing a long road to recovery.

As if this wasn’t enough, our mother is currently battling multiple forms of cancer. Despite her own serious health condition, she has had to step away from not one, but two jobs just to be by Arron’s side and support him through this critical time. No mother should have to choose between her health, her livelihood, and caring for her child—but right now, she has no choice.

Arron has always been the one others could count on. He worked hard every day to make sure his children had what they needed. Now, he needs help from his community to get through this.
