Support ARPS Furloughed Workers

In the midst of the pandemic, many people have continued to work in our schools in Amherst Regional Public . However, due to the buildings remaining closed and budget shortfalls, several of our most essential employees have had to be furloughed.

This campaign is intended to help support these workers in case of emergencies complicated by the pandemic and loss of salary and benefits.

The original goal is set at $5000, but it can be increased if there is a need. The intention of the money raised is to purchase gift cards at local grocery stores for furloughed employees and their families.

Many of the furloughed workers are able to collect unemployment for the time being, but as we are aware, these funds are finite and a fraction of normal salaries. It would be best to raise funds before these payments run out.

As mentioned above, this is a fundraiser for our most essential workers in the district who have dutifully kept district buildings up and running through this uncertain time. We greatly appreciate any donation you are able to make.

Note: This fundraiser is being run by a third party who will then distribute funds with the assistance of district staff close to the situation. It is not a district-sponsored fundraiser.
