As a family, we are facing one of the hardest moments of our lives. My brother, Aroldo (62), is battling liver cancer and advanced liver dysfunction.

In recent months, he has been hospitalized multiple times due to severe fluid buildup (ascites), requiring procedures to help him breathe more comfortably. He was recently treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Because of insurance limitations, he can no longer remain hospitalized there. We are urgently seeking an in-network hospital that accepts his Medi-Cal so he can continue receiving the care he needs.

Aroldo has been unable to work for over two years, and the situation has become increasingly difficult as we try to cover essential expenses and those arising from his illness.

Funds will help cover medical costs not fully covered by insurance, medications, procedures, transportation, and essential living needs during treatment.
