Arnulfo and Onofre's funeral expenses to New Mexico
Donation protected
My name is Virginia, and I come humbly before my family and friends asking for help. I never thought that I would need to come here to ask, but this has happened so unexpectedly.
My brother, Arnulfo Orta, tragically lost his fiancée, Carolyn Dayish-Gonzalez, on March 2, 2025. Carolyn was sweet, kind, happy, and full of life. She loved and was so proud of her son, Onofre, and all of his accomplishments while attending UT of Austin.
Carolyn belonged to the Navajo Nation in Shiprock, New Mexico. Carolyn’s family has decided to take Carolyn back to Shiprock, New Mexico, to be buried at the Navajo reservation next to her father.
With Carolyn being flown back to New Mexico, there are many expenses for her funeral and her flight to finally lay her to rest. My brother, Arnulfo, and her son, 18-year-old Onofre Gonzales Jr., will be driving to Shiprock, New Mexico, and with that, they’ll be having unexpected expenses.
I ask humbly for any help you can give my brother and Carolyn’s son, O. Any amount of donation will help with their trip, which will probably be a week long or more.
BUT if you are not able to help at this time, I ask that you please keep my brother and O in your thoughts and prayers, and Carolyn’s entire family that is mourning the loss of this beautiful soul.
Carolyn, may you rest in peace. I love you, I will miss you, and thank you for loving my brother so unconditionally. He will never find anyone like you again. Rest easy, beautiful.
