Support Arnold's Battle Against Stage 4 Bile duct cancer
Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Mira and I am Arnold's daughter. I am reaching out to you all with a heartfelt request to support Arnold Celzo a loving Dad, brother, uncle, son, man of faith, and member of many service organizations. Arnold is a 50-year-old father of four who has worked as a mail carrier, serving the Mountain View and Alameda districts for the past 20 years.
Arnold began having health concerns in October with a minor heart attack and idiopathic pain, which led to him being hospitalized for several days. After weeks of testing and several biopsies, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer of the bile duct - Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma, which has metastasized and spread to his liver. Arnold intended to continue working through Thanksgiving and Christmas to support his family. However, he was given 6 months to live unless he began chemotherapy in December. Dad has been hospitalized recently due to a blood clot in his portal vein (PVT) due to his liver dysfunction. Further tests indicated that the cancer is progressing and he has been undergoing treatment. Due to his cancer progressing, he has lost the ability to move independently. So, our mom has stopped working her part-time job in order to be a caretaker for Dad. This has put our family in unforeseen financial hardship.
My Dad is not the type to ask for help — in fact he would rather help others before himself. But, the reality is, cancer treatment is expensive. Between medical expenses, lost income, changes to his dietary needs and living expenses the financial pressure adds up fast.
Our family remains strong in faith and is exploring alternative treatments to give Dad the best possible care. The funds raised will help cover his
- medical bills and medications not fully covered by insurance
- Supplemental therapies for strength, nutrition, and mental well-being
- support his family during this financial hardship with living expenses
Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference and remind Arnold that he is not alone in this battle. He continues to fight with his wife Maryjane and four children Mira Angelia, Alyssa Marie, Mia Arianne, and Austin Myles .If you are unable to donate, sharing this campaign would be deeply appreciated!
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support. Together, we can make a positive impact.
With gratitude,
The Celzo Family
