Arnie, our tatay/ dad, recently suffered a stroke and is currently hospitalized. This has been a sudden and life changing event for our family. He is not only a loving husband and father to three amazing children, but he is also the heart and soul of Harina. As the main baker and provider, Arnie has always worked tirelessly to support his loved ones and bring joy to our community through his delicious breads. If you've been with us since the very beginning, you know Daddy Baker. And for many who don’t, our popup bakery was called Daddy Baker when he first started baking at home.

While we are incredibly grateful that he survived this, the road to recovery is long and challenging. With Arnie in the ICU after a 4-hour surgery to remove the blood clot on the right side of his brain, medical bills and the uncertainty of his recovery period has put some financial strain on our family.

We are reaching out to our friends, family, and community for help during this incredibly difficult time. The funds raised will go directly toward our dad's medical expenses, post stroke rehab and help cover our family's living costs while he is recovering.
