Dear friends--I'm reaching out on behalf of a friend of mine, children's author, Arnée F. I've known her a long time and I can tell you that she's a kind, funny and thoughtful person, an amazing writer, and a devoted mother. She's the kind of friend who always shows up with cake, or a smile (usually both) and the first to check on a friend when they're having a rough time. She's always there to support her community and unfortunately now is the time when the community needs to support her.

For a lot of reasons, I can't currently share details of the situation, but Arnée and her young daughter need emergency help. They are likely facing a move, will absolutely need legal help, and countless other things a family needs when they start over. It's a very uncertain time for her and likely to shift rapidly over the coming weeks.
