Dear friends, supporters and community,

I am Armine, a passionate young female professional from Armenia with a huge dedication to education and community empowerment.

I'm thrilled to share that I've been selected as one of 40 finalists globally for the full-time International MBA program at EADA Business School in the vibrant city of Barcelona.

EADA is renowned for its excellence in business education and commitment to shaping global leaders. EADA is #18 worldwide and #1 in Spain Best MBAs based on sustainability, gender balance and diversity by Corporate Knights.

Moreover, I am honored to announce that recently the EADA Admissions and Scholarship Committees have selected me as a recipient of the 40% Diversity Scholarship, a recognition awarded to only a select few exceptional candidates following a rigorous application process.

However, the scholarship and admission offer are valid until 10th June (final extended deadline). After this date, the Admissions Committee will reassign the
scholarship to another candidate. To accept the scholarship, I should enroll and make the first payment (€ 5,375) of my tuition fee before this date.

Later, before September 2024 I will have to pay the rest of the tuition fee. More information on fees can be found below, in the section entitled "FEES".

ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE AND ITS GLOBAL IMPACT

My journey in international relations and youth advocacy has not only shaped my own path but has also left a lasting impact on communities globally. From my work with esteemed organizations such as the Council of Europe to my involvement in EU-funded initiatives, I've had the privilege of contributing to meaningful change on an international scale.

During my voluntary mandate at the Council of Europe, serving on both the Advisory Council on Youth and the Programming Committee on Youth, I had the opportunity to collaborate with diverse stakeholders from across Europe. Together, we worked to establish standards, set work priorities, and make recommendations that directly influenced youth policies at the European level.

Furthermore, my role as one of the Facilitators for EU4Youth Policy Laboratories in Armenia provided a platform for meaningful dialogue and exchange on relevant policy challenges in the country. By bringing together policymakers, stakeholders, and young people, I was able to address critical issues facing youth and contribute to the formulation of effective policy solutions. The impact of these discussions extended beyond borders, fostering a sense of solidarity and cooperation among Eastern Partnership countries and beyond.

MY VOLUNTEERING CONTRIBUTIONS IN THE LAST 11 YEARS

For over a decade, I've dedicated myself to volunteering, both nationally and internationally, with a focus on community projects and youth empowerment initiatives. In 2020, I founded the Youth Development Center of Armenia (NGO), an organization committed to providing young people with non-formal educational opportunities and fostering a sense of citizenship and community responsibility.

Moreover, throughout the past 11 years I have been actively involved in many international youth networks, included but not limited to MIJARC Europe, Rural Youth Europe (RYE), Youth and Environment Europe (YEE) and Human Rights Education Youth Network (HREYN) international youth networks, European Youth Forum (the largest youth umbrella network in Europe) and more. All those commitments have been on a voluntary basis, as well.

FEES

While I am honored to have received the 40% Diversity Scholarship for the International MBA program at EADA Business School, there remains a financial gap that needs to be bridged in order to fully realize this opportunity.

The total tuition fee for the program amounts to 43,000 (≈ $46,000). With the scholarship covering €17,200(≈ $18,400) of this amount, there is still an outstanding balance of €25,800 (≈ $27,600) that needs to be funded. This remaining amount is crucial for covering essential expenses related to tuition, academic materials, and program fees.

Considering the transfer fees from the US to Armenia, the requested amount is $28,500.

Investing in my education will not only enrich my own capabilities but also position me to make a meaningful impact in the fields of Business consulting and EdTech, both locally and globally.

Your contribution towards donating for this tuition fee will directly support my pursuit of academic excellence and professional development.

LIVING EXPENSES

While my primary focus is on covering the tuition fees, I recognize the importance of accounting for living expenses during my time at EADA Business School. Barcelona is a vibrant city with a rich culture, but it also comes with its associated costs. Here's a breakdown of the estimated monthly living expenses:

  • Housing: The cost of housing in Barcelona typically ranges from €400 to €1000 per month, depending on the location and amenities.
  • Utilities: Utilities such as electricity, water, and internet may amount to €100 to €200 per month.
  • Food: Budgeting for food expenses ranges from €250 to €500 monthly, depending on dietary preferences and eating habits.
  • Transportation: Public transportation in Barcelona costs approximately €50 to €70 per month for regular commuting.
  • Miscellaneous: Other miscellaneous expenses, including personal care, and incidental purchases, may range from €250 to €450 per month.

Total: Based on these estimates, the total monthly living expenses range from €1,050 to €2,200.

While I am committed to covering my living expenses through personal means, any funds raised beyond the tuition fee will provide additional support and flexibility during my time in Barcelona. Your generosity will help alleviate financial burdens, allowing me to fully focus on my studies and extracurricular activities.
