My name is Armineh Johannes, and I am a documentary photographer. My photography has won numerous awards. I am writing to ask for your help and support with regards to my upcoming exhibition at the History Museum of Armenia, in Yerevan.
I will be holding a large photo exhibition at the Museum of History in Yerevan which will start on May 28th 2026, marking the First Republic of Armenia of 1918, and will continue until September 21, which marks the second Republic of Armenia. I have been documenting life in Armenia and Artsakh for over 30 years. This photo exhibition will focus on life in Armenia and in Artsakh in the 1990s. My first book “We Are Our Mountains” on Armenia and Artsakh has just been published.
This will be a great opportunity for showcasing life in Armenia and Artsakh, as almost four months of exhibition, which takes place mostly during the summer months, will attract thousands of tourists, students as well as locals.
Your help is crucial for the successful production of this project!
The organization and production of a major exhibition is rather costly, requiring large size prints, design and production of posters, framing and PR materials and other related costs.
If you can contribute to this project, I would be very grateful to you.
