Hello everyone, my name is Eva and I have created this GoFundMe to raise funds for my niece Armida Preciado Lara who was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in 2025. Armida is a new mom and lives with her 1 year-old son and husband in Mexico. Some of you may know her mother, my sister Esmeralda, who is a massage therapist and has visited us in Ojai various times over the years. We are hoping to raise money to help Armida and her family pay for radiation therapy treatments post-lumpectomy. Armida is currently receiving these treatments but has encountered financially difficulty and needs support to be able to continue with the therapies.

We appreciate anything you are able and willing to contribute. We all know how important and very much appreciated community and a support system is, and we want Armida to feel that support and care in these challenging times with her health, financial hardship and in new motherhood. She extends heartfelt thanks, as do all of us in her family both in Ojai and Mexico.

Hola todos, mi nombre es Eva y he creado este GoFundMe para recaudar fondos para mi sobrina Armida Preciado Lara que le diagnosticaron cancer del pecho de grado 3 el año pasado en 2025. Armida vive con su bebe de 1 año y su esposo en Mexico, y algunos de ustedes tal vez recuerdan mi hermano Esmeralda quien a venido a visitarnos varias veces y daba masajes. Esperamos recaudar fondos para ayudar a Armida y a su familia pagar sus tratamientos de radiación los cuales ya esta recibiendo, pero se ha encontrado con dificultades financieras y necesita apoyo para poder pagarlos y continuarlos.
