My name is Anahit and I am reaching out during an incredibly difficult time as the daughter and caretaker of my parents, Armenouhi and Karen, who have both been courageously battling cancer for several years.
My father, Karen, has fought against cancer for 3 years, but his condition has worsened significantly over the past 2 years. Due to his condition, he was not able to work the past 2 years and I became the sole provider for my family, while also taking care of all three of my family members, including my grandma. He has been hospitalized for the last month and is now in hospice. Despite the doctors' best efforts, we have been told that he has only days or weeks left.
My mother, Armenouhi, has been resiliently battling cancer for 5 years. Recently, her condition has also deteriorated rapidly. She has been in critical condition and had been in the hospital for over a month, and has now transitioned to hospice with my dad.
I have never been one to ask for help. I’ve always been the type of person to burn myself to keep my loved ones warm. I’ve been by my parents' side, caring for them around the clock, while also caring for my grandmother. Now, as I face the debilitating reality of losing both my parents, I am humbly asking for support to help cover and ensure they receive the dignified memorials they deserve. I want to continue to be strong for them and be able to take care of them fully until they are able to rest in peace with each other.
Any assistance would be deeply appreciated, and I am eternally grateful for your support during this heartbreaking time.
Sincerely,
Anahit
