This fundraiser aims to benefit a remarkable nonprofit organization in Armenia called Mtki Zark. Mtki Zark was founded by the late, great hero of Shushi, Arkadi Der-Tatevossian, and is now led by the decorated war hero and wounded soldier of the 1990's Artsakh war, Lieutenant Colonel Armen Bayramyan. LtCol Bayramyan is a double amputee and diligent officer of the organization, holding the title of President. As you can tell, this is an organization founded and run by top-ranking Armenian Soldiers with its intentions set on benefitting the soldiers most in need after the 2020 attacks on our motherland and its people.

Background:

Armenia, a small landlocked country with a rich cultural heritage, has faced numerous challenges throughout its long history. In recent times, it has endured the continued threat of attacks by neighboring nations, putting the lives of our people and borders at risk. These fearless soldiers have stood at the forefront, defending our homeland against unimaginable odds. While they survived the war, many of them now bear the physical and emotional scars of that sacrifice.

The Cause:

Mtki Zark is committed to restoring hope and rebuilding the lives of our wounded heroes. Their tireless efforts focus on providing comprehensive vocational training, sustainable employment opportunities within many fields and most importantly, providing hope; enabling these brave men to regain their independence and lead fulfilling lives.

Empowering through Employment:

The funds raised through this campaign will directly support the vocational training programs offered by the nonprofit. These programs are designed to help these soldiers acquire new skills and develop expertise in areas such as technology, craftsmanship, and more. By empowering them with practical knowledge and marketable skills, we can create sustainable employment opportunities that enable them to rebuild their lives and contribute to their communities... and eventually to a more robust Armenia
