Help Support Armenian Genocide Memorial and Education

The funds raised will help support the creation of a memorial monument at St. Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church in Charlotte, located at 7000 Park Road, along with materials, site preparation, banners, T-shirts, remembrance outreach, and educational efforts. Founded in 2005, St. Sarkis is a meaningful home for the Armenian community in Charlotte and a fitting place for this tribute.

This cause is deeply personal to our family. My wife, Alla Grigoryan, is Armenian and grew up in Yerevan, where the official Armenian Genocide memorial stands. We are asking others to help us honor the 1.5 million Armenians lost during the Armenian Genocide of 1915–1916 by creating a sacred place of remembrance here in Charlotte.

Come Join us this Friday, we will walk from the Nordstrom parking lot at SouthPark Mall to St. Sarkis Church as a public act of remembrance and unity. We will have T-shirts, Candles and Banners available. Please support this effort with a donation, by sharing this fundraiser, and by helping us preserve the memory of these lives so the world will never forget.
