Armando Gabriel Zavala

On Friday September 12th, Armando Gabriel Zavala, our brother out of IUEC Local 93, was involved in a motorcycle accident that led to him being admitted to Vanderbilt Medical Center ICU. It is with deep sorrow to share that on the evening of September 15th, with loved ones by his side, Armando passed away peacefully. 

Armando is a respectable young man whose sense of humor, work ethic and zest for life never went unnoticed. He was proud to be a part of the escalator team with TKElevator at the new Nissan Stadium in Nashville, and was without a doubt a favorite among his coworkers, let alone other trades.

Armando had a love for many things, but above all his love for is family was paramount. It seemed whenever he had a chance, he would make a trip to visit his loved ones and would share stories of time spent.

As one can imagine, a situation such as this can come with unforeseen financial burdens to the immediate and extended family. If you are able, please donate what you can to contribute to some of these hidden costs experienced in such an unfortunate event.

Say a prayer for our friend and his family, be safe, and love one another. Let’s never forget how fragile life can be, or how quickly it can change.
