We are raising funds to support Armand and Arlene Cruz and their family during a life-changing season.
On November 16, 2025, Armand underwent a double lung transplant. After spending 27 days in the hospital following surgery, he has been discharged and is now continuing his recovery at his sister’s home in Gilbert. Due to transplant requirements, Armand must remain within one hour of the hospital for the next 6–8 months to attend frequent follow-up appointments and ensure his recovery stays on track.
While this transplant has given Armand a second chance at life, the financial impact has been overwhelming. Medical bills, ongoing medication costs, and post-transplant care expenses are quickly adding up. In addition, Arlene has needed to take significant time off work to serve as Armand’s primary caregiver—transporting him to multiple clinic visits, physical therapy, speech therapy, and follow-up procedures three to four times each week.
This extended time away from work, combined with mounting medical and living expenses, has placed a heavy financial burden on their family during an already challenging time.
